35 km south-west of Kuopio, Lake Petäinen 30 m (length 5.5 km, width 0.5 km) shallow, hard sanded clay bottom, own boat. Wooden cottage 2007, living room/ kitchen, bedroom 2 beds and child's bed. Upstairs: hall, bedroom 3 beds, bedroom 2 beds, bedroom 4 beds. Downstairs: sauna (electric stove), washroom, dressing room/ utility room, open porch. Gas heated ring burner + Muurikka steel pan as gas grill. Car port. There is also charcoal grill at the cottage (client brings charcoal and ignition fluid).

2-storey, spacious wooden chalet suitable for two, or even three, families at a time, also for conferences and company groups. Lower floor suitable for wheelchairs (also WC for disabled). Plot is level between chalet and road entering yard, from chalet to shore a gentle slope, with a large grassed area. Owner rents out long 'church boat' and 2 bicycles. Local sights: Kuopio zoo 20 km, Lohimaa tourist centre 46 km, City of Kuopio museums and e.g. Pikku Pietari market street 35 km. Check in/ out Friday !

  The cottage was fantastic. We were three families with a total of 10 people. The house is well-equipped, especially for so many people. Both young and old enjoyed swimming in the lake. The fire pit is also great; we grilled sausages and bread on sticks. We will rent it again the next time we come to Finland.
