A comfortable log cabin and lakeside sauna set on a sunny plot by the shores of Lake Pielinen. Located 13 km south of Nurmes, Lake Pielinen is 30 m away (871.2 km², 100 km long, 20 km wide), with a child-friendly dredged and sanded shore, a pier with a deeper spot at the end, and a private boat.

The log building, constructed in 1999, includes a living room with a sofa, a kitchenette, a sleeping alcove with a double bed separated by a curtain, a loft with two beds and a 120 cm wide bed, and a bathroom.

Additionally, there is a separate lakeside sauna available year-round; the sauna features a wood-heated stove, cold water supply, underfloor heating, electric heaters, and a Kotapata for heating water.

A hot tub for 10 people (2 m in diameter) is available for an additional fee from May 1st to October 31st. The price is 120 EUR for 1-3 nights, 180 EUR for 4-7 nights, with additional days at 30 EUR per day. Reservations must match the duration of the stay and be made directly with the owner.

Please note, in Eastern Finland, water levels in lakes have been exceptionally low for two years due to ongoing drought, affecting recreational use. Piers are high, and swimming areas have very little water. This also applies to Nurmirinne.

If the water level in Lake Pielinen is low, boating may be challenging. A 10 m x 15 m swimming area has been dredged at the shore, allowing swimming even during low water levels.
